Time, don't let it slip away. / Tiempo, que no se te escape.

Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out...

I guess it's true. We're constantly anticipating something and making plans for later like "When I graduate college I'll..."; "When I get married..."; "When we buy a house...". And even smaller things "On Friday I'll..."; "I'll work on this over the weekend";  "When my next paycheck arrives..." and so on. So we end up not enjoying or appreciating the day we're living.

It's not that I think planning ahead is wrong, but we need to just stop sometimes. I find myself not even taking my time to eat my food and then I realize I just ate the whole plate in 10 minutes, and all because I'm in a hurry to go back to work or in a hurry to do something else. So wrong in so many levels...

I mean, multitasking is great but you will find such a joy on focusing on one thing at a time that will give you, to paraphrase Master Shifu: Inner Peace
